Difficult edema cases can cause dilution of arterial fluids resulting in unreliable results. Treatment prior to arterial injection with
Dryout is highly recommended to prevent this.
Add equal parts
Dryout,
Pre/Co Injection and
Chelator to your pre-injection mix
. It's not advisable to add water to your solution for edematous cases.
The strength of
Dryout depends on the severity of the case. An improved result can be obtained by increasing pressure to
100 psi and selecting a
low flow rate.
Dryout has been specifically formulated as a potent anti-edema fluid and its effects are immediate.
Dryout is used as a pre-injection. The synergistic solution of inorganic salt molecules are small enough to pass through the tissue walls and into the tissue's cells. The unique concentrated dehydrating effect of
Dryout 'sucks' out the edematous fluid like a sponge.
If used in conjunction with
arterial fluids (instead of pre-injection) the capillaries, arteries and veins become blocked due to the coagulating effect the arterial solution has when in contact with blood protein, therefore blocking these vessels and trapping the edema in the tissue cells and spaces.
